I loved Tangled, it was a great movie based of Repunzel except 10 times better! (the pan parts are funny....)

Well, as with almost all movies that come out these days there were a few problems with it. First of all, Tangled promotes salvation through "living YOUR dream", not through following the plan GOD has for your life. As you may have noticed, everyone's dream came true in the end, and everyone was extremely happy, and of course they all lived happily ever after. But living your dream in real life won't solve your problems, even though you may believe it will, even though all your friends and family may keep telling you it will, it WON'T. Deep down inside you'll feel unhappy and unsatisfied, because the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ. Through Him, and ONLY through Him, may you find true happiness, satisfaction, and a purpose for your life.
Of course, there are many good things in this movie as well, such as friendship and sacrifice. But we need to be aware both the good things and the bad things, just so we're not fooled into thinking that the bad things are actually good things. Because as time goes on, and we continue to watch movies with supposedly no bad ideas in them, and this will slowly start to impact our thinking and our life, and before we know it, we'll be stuck in one of Satan's traps.
So, Tangled is a fun movie, we just need to make sure we view it through the lens of a Christan worldview. That way, we'll be aware of all the good and bad things in it, and decide what we want to impact our lives, and what we don't.

A few days ago I put the Tangled soundtrack on my MP3 player, and my little sister hasn't stopped listening to it. She's watched Tangled 5 times already, and won't stop quoting it either. For example, yesterday I was looking for something, can't quite remember what, so I asked her if she knew what it was and she replied, "It's in the pot." I asked her what snack she'd had yesterday evening and she started singing "cupcakes are sublime. Bruiser knits..." I know it sounds amusing but it can get annoying. I don't think I want to watch Tangled again any time soon...
