Small note,

Rangers, having elvish blood and the blessing of the Valar, have longer lives than normal Humans.

As such, 25 ish in human years, is to a Ranger more like 17-18 as far as responsibilities and such go.

That is, as I recall.

And was in his 50s or so in the events of LOTR as I recall(I'm digging out my RtoK appendice right now to check.)

But how you play is you fill out the form on the first post and then post a story about your character... And you can keep posting more of your story. Does that make sense?

Well, we kind of need a "mediator" or "Moderator" for major events, but yeah, other than that you can do your story.

Arathorn strode slowly east, towards Imladris(rivendell)

He noticed that the wild was quiet, almost afraid.

Slipping from the road, he hid in the undergrowth on the side.

He felt, rather than saw a figure on a horse race by, they brought a unreasonable fear to his heart.

Sticking his head out of the long grasses, he peered after the rider, who was swathed in black robes from head to toe, disapearing into the distance.

So stuff like that, I'm working off the idea of our doing the RPG at around the same time as the War of the Ring.(LOTR books)

But that is kind of up to us.

does everybody's RPG have to be attached somehow? Like do I have to make mine the same as yours or can it be in a different time period?

Well they don't have to be connected but they should be in the same time setting like a certain war or... yeah.

I don't know what time period we're doing, and if you really don't want the same time period you don't have too.

I am going to try. I know it is going to be really bad.

Alexar woke slowly, not wanting to get out of her bed role.

"Come have some breakfast Alexar." Garyion was sitting near a fire cooking some eggs.

Alexar got up. She walked to the fire and sat next to Garyion. "Will we be heading home today?" Alexar asked her brother.

"I am not sure, depends on the weather."

Alexar and Garyion started to eat. The eggs were very different from what they normally ate for breakfast.

Once they were done they packed up their roles and started heading down the road, aiming for the huge city looming infront of them.

Arathorn spent the next week on foot to arrive in Rivendell.

He wished to report his news to his chief, Aragorn, but found that Aragorn and 8 companions had left a few days before on a quest that Elrond would not explain, but said was of the greatest importance.

All the same, he had to act, he petitioned his elders for the redoubling of the guard of the Rangers, and then waited for news from the south and east for news of his Uncle at the court of Elrond.

They entered the city. Alexar always felt so small when she entered Gondor. Everyone about them was busy in the market.

"Alexar over here." Garyion called to her. He was making his way up to their house. Alexar ran to catch up. When she made it to her brother they were almost at their door.

Their mother was at their door step sweeping the dust out it little puffs of brown smoke. Alexar ran to mother wrapping her in a big embrace.

"How as the hunting?" Their mother asked.

"Fairly good." said Garyion holding two nice turkeys up and grinning slightly, "Where is father?" He asked.

"He is gone but will be back soon." Their mother replied her face suddenly turning hard. Garyion looked at his mother and knew.

"Stay out here for a couple minutes, Alexar, ok?" Garyion told her.

"I will." She said. Her mother and brother disappeared into the house. Alexar walked down the narrow rode to see if she might be able to visit her friend.
