Interesting Injuries!

yep... im sure we all have done those stupid things that resulted in injuries. like seeing if we could skateboard, when we already know we cant.

Oooooh! That musta been interesting! I actually posted this topic, then went outside and was sword fighting with my little brother. We use foam swords that have plastic under the foam. Apparently, the foam on the tip of one of the swords had come off, and the plastic scraped up my finger.

I've really only scraped my chin really badly, (twice.) and jammed my finger.

Hmmm i stepped on a nail Friday and it went through my shoe and sock but didnt even scrape my foot!

I was on a scooter once going down a steep hill and the pedal thing on the back didn't work so I jumped off and skinned my knee, hand, and chin.

Ouch! One time, i wrapped Buster's (my dog's) leash around the handle bars of my scooter and tried to get him to pull me... we were going downhill though, and he was scared of the scooter... and all in all, it wasnt a good combination. i ended up landing on my bottom!

And since its not just human injuries My dog Bear ( she's a yorkie.) broke her paw by falling off the couch.

Awww poor dog! Let's see, my Mom, when she was my age, she had a dog, and he ran into a tree. When I was 5 or 6, I ran into a tree while running away from a dog. When my lil brother was about 5, he ran into a tree, and then, Buster (my dog) ran into a tree. So running into trees must 'run in the family' Wink

My dog has run into a glass door because she didn't know there was a door.

Also, once I was doing a job for my Mom and I heard a noise that meant someone replied to my post, so I ran back to the computer but hit my foot against the heater and cut my smallest toe open, it bled for an hour. Shocked

(and it hurt...)

Ouch! We have a space heater thing in one of our rooms, and i ran into the room once, and the light was off, and i ran and tripped over the heater and landed on the couch Grin

i sprain my ankle all the time. and i messed up my right ankle when i fell off a horse named Missy several years ago. and i sprained my wrist a month ago when i fell off Winston. and the week after that i sprained the same wrist when we went bowling!

i burned my finger on a skillet while cooking, and the next week, i burned the same finger, on the same spot, with the same skillet!

You need to be more careful!

When my aunt was really young her neighbors made candles or something and she touched the metal thing that formed them and she burned her hand, so she ran into the house and ran cold water over it and cried herself to sleep, at the sink!

Well since you know how if you ever go to the beach when your close to one. (which I'm not... Sad

I'd love to live in Hawaii despite hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcano's... But anyways.) If your ever close to one make a shape in the sand and pour the hot wax into it and wait until it gets stiff and you have a candle with the outside covered in sand! (My Mom did that when she was young.)

u grabbed a weak branch, the branch crack and u landed on ur back, almost broke ur neck. I, Trinity-Hawkeye has witness what happen.......... actually it was funny.

I've done several things that coulda gotten me seriously hurt. Like I've almost flipped a four wheeler before, I've fallen off psychotic horses, ridden psychotic horses, I've been outside when there is lightening, I've been in the ocean when there was a 'shark' nearby (long, funny story!), I always get stung by jelly fish when we go to the beach, and the most dangerous of all..... I've driven a car Grin

I've driven a car when I was 7! (I was on my Dad's lap but still it counts...)

I have 'broken' both of my little toes on my brother's weight bench.

I don't think I've ever broken anything, but there were two times when I felt like I did! Once was on July 4th (I remember because we were getting ready to go over and swim at my grandparent's house), and my big toe somehow got bent underneath my foot, and I stepped on it. I think I just dislocated it, though. And then my sister and I knocked our fingers together real hard, and it felt like I had broken them, but I didn't. Razz
