I'm sorry, but I'm going to pop everyone's happy bubble about this movie. Rainy

It was actually what I expected it to be - a half baked Christian film. I believe they could have been much stronger as far as being a Christian movie. It's funny that the secular critiques think it's a strong faith film. Also, there were scenes that could have been cut and also it seemed like there were conflicts that weren't resolved like the argument between Noah and Dad.

Now, I'm not saying anything about the real person Bethany Hamilton. I believe her fully that her faith pulled her through, but I believe the movie poorly reflected her strength and courage.

Another good thing was that I was squirming in my seat when her arm was bitten off. Very few movies can touch me like that.

I haven't seen it yet so I don't know if it is well made or not. I hear a lot though that they put a lot of her faith into it, but still I am not sure.

But they also have to be good too like this movie. This movie has funny parts, sad parts, dramatic parts, awkward parts, and a whole bunch of different parts; therefore it is a good movie.
