I think that using the concept of SoC and recreating our own version would be cool, but I also think that SoC belongs to Briggs and KQ. Briggs (using others's ideas) invented Streets of Chessington. We can invent our own game, using his ideas, but I don't think it would be right to simply copy his. If you do copy his, I think you should at least get his permission to use it. "Better to ask permission than forgiveness", right?

That's just my opinion, and I may be making too much of this, but I thought I should throw in my two bits.
