Swords!

Okay, so in the Kingdom Series, everybody uses swords, right? so why not have a topic to talk about swords and post pics of our favorite ones! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Oh, I love swords!! I have my own metal one (I think it's Scottish....not sure, though. My brother got it for me at a gun show, I think), and then, our family has countless wooden swords.

A sword would be neat to have! But I think I would prefer throwing knives. Someone MUST you those at one point in KS or KoA...

Two of my brothers have throwing knives...I tried throwing one at a target, but, of course, it didn't stick. Razz

I think my oldest brother (still younger than me) is pretty good, but not sure how good my middle brother is. They're both real good at throwing tomahawks, though!! Very Happy

Much to my Ma's dismay my sister has a sword, I have a medieval dagar (with dragons on the blade [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ), and my brother has three swords and one throwing knife (this dosent include our pocket knives, archery...and all the other weapons around the house.....)

When our mom trimmed out big tree we used some of the branches and some string to make bows and arrows. They actually worked pretty well! Except for a couple pocket knives, all of our weapons are homeade. A couple wooden swords is pretty much all that's left now Razz

Lol. The only way my Mumma and Daddy let me get a sword was that I told them it be for decoration. Very Happy

But they knew I would end up using it for other stuff too. Actually I think our brother has four swords.... three or four.... My sword is a replica of an "Excalibur Knighting Sword". But its really cool looking!

I have a sword!!

It's 7 inches long. Razz

It's a Rhindon envelope opener. *sigh* I'd love a real sword.

I use metal pipes to sword fight though. They're aluminum, so they're not that heavy.

I have a sword! it is hmmmm, 22 inches long all together, it is a replica of Sting Frodo's sword in LotR, I named my sword Sinnumeng which is Sting in an Elvish language.

I'll post a picture of it when I can.

If you go to the Kingdom Series website, and look at the sword they sell, my sword is just like that, except is says something else instead of "The King reigns and His Son" or whatever the arrethtrae one says
