RPG's are definitely fun! It would be nice to have a medieval setting, since we're all KS and KoA fans. What kind of RPG would you all like to play?

Hm, maybe if two people partnered up as writers, it would work well. Since there's not a whole lot of members or a tiny amount .

Not sure what I did mean at all too no, I am joking, I am just asking what are you actually doing in this thread, are you programming games (Wow, THAT's going to be hard! Knowing it from my short experience as a begginer programmer!) or you are planing to play one or make mods or I don't know

What does everyone think of doing "The Snook" on here? I loved that game before I got behind in reading the posts on it. We could call it something different, though, if Kelcin had the other game copyrighted.

No, we haven't! I like Daisy's idea of having two writers. That way we don't have to wait on a whole group of writers, but if one writer is busy there is always another who can take his/her place.

I'd be really happy to come up with a premise and be a writer, if no one objects! Is there anyone else who would like to join me? Any suggestions anyone has for making the game better?

Okay, so, if we don't want to have the same ship name, we should be thinking about what other good name we could have. We could do The Surprise.

I didn't play Snook on KQ, but I liked following along. If you do decide on a new name, another idea is The Serendipity. According to the dictionary, serendipity means "gift for discovery; a natural gift for making useful discoveries by accident." That seems applicable!

Those names are all so good. I think my favorite is The Serendipity. So I guess we can go with that, unless anyone really wants a different one .

Alright, I have a question for everybody. Would ya'll like a game similar to The Search For Uncle Arctica on the other forum? Only I would change it around a bit, maybe we would search for something like treasure instead of a person. Or would that be too many games at once?

Yes, true...okay, I've got an idea! What if (this may sound like a really bad idea...) I did do a Search For Uncle Arctica thread, only I made it like King's Ransom, where I write out the story, and then give you options? And the first one to find Uncle Arctica wins?

Hey, I have an idea (well, Night Watchman and I) for Town Go To Sleep so that there won't be so many Townspeople. Maybe the Jail Keeper could be a police officer instead, so if the detective gets killed the police officer would take his place (if the detective does not get killed the PO would be able to do the same as the Jail Keeper). Or we could have the Townspeople vote on a killer if the detective gets killed. Either way.

Here's a couple ideas I've got.
A diplomatic meeting, with the world(a fantasy world, a time from history, anything) on the verge of war.
Each player will play a ruler from a nation, have their goals the wish to accomplish in the negotiations, and see what happens. Each ruler could represent a different philosophy.

Or we are each rulers of our own kingdoms as we face the challenge of a coming evil.

In regards to forum roleplaying games, I think we ought to try out one where it has a clear ending.
